The Black Collection (2026)
The Black Collection is a series of nine contemporary abstract works, created during a significant period of my life. Simplistic in colour, yet deeply personal in meaning, the collection quietly reflects thoughts, emotions and experiences from the past few years - some visible, others deliberately left beneath the surface.
Through black, texture, layering and restrained interruptions of white and colour, I explore what can be expressed without being explained. While each piece holds its own meaning for me, I leave that meaning open. The viewer is invited to bring something of themselves to the work - to see, feel and interpret whatever they find within it.
This collection, like all collections, is personal to me, and one I am quietly proud to share.
